John Seebohm

John SeebohmJohn Seebohm is in our Denver office and re-joined Buchanan & Stouffer in 2016. He brings thirty years of experience to his estate and business planning, estate administration and estate controversy practice.

During the past 15 years, John has primarily focused on estate and business planning for clients and probate of estates, while continuing to handle litigation of disputed estate and trust matters, including fiduciary litigation.  Prior to his affiliation with Buchanan & Stouffer, he practiced law at several Denver-area firms.

The breadth of John’s experience enhances his planning, administration and litigation capabilities.  John assists clients with carefully considered estate and business planning, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, business formation and succession planning, as well as representing trustees and personal representatives in trust and estate administration.

If disputes arise involving fiduciaries or beneficiaries in trust and estate matters, or among business owners, John has the ability to arrive at agreements to avoid litigation when possible, and to effectively, aggressively represent clients in court when litigation is unavoidable.

John and his wife are longtime residents of Boulder where they raised two children.  When not practicing law, John enjoys spending time with his family, and in his favorite outdoor activities including climbing, ski mountaineering and trail running.
